What are LED's?

An LED, or Light-Emitting Diode, is a semiconducter device that produces
visible light when an electrical current passes through it.
LED's are a type of Solid State Lighting (SSL), as are organic light-omitting
diodes (OLED's) and light-emitting polymers (LEP's).
LED Lighting products use these light-emitting diodes to produce light more
effeciently. As the  electrical current passes through the semiconductor material, the tiny light sources we call LED's are illuminated.

Why is it better for you to be using LED lighting

over any of the other options available, such as incandescent and CFL? How do you benefit?

Cost Effectiveness

Initially more expensive than CFLs, LEDs bring more value since they last longer. The cost is recouped over time from the savings in utilitities, maintenance, and inventory expenses from your LED upgrade.

LED's also do not produce heat, while incandescent bulbs use 90% of their power in heat output. This saves you money. A majority of those financing their LED lighting upgrade have found that the money savings were greater than their monthly payment, providing them with no out-of-pocket costs.

Unlike CFL's, our LED's can be dimmable, motion activated, or even set up on timers. This advantages is unique to the LED bulb, because unlike most other outdoor lighting options that can take up to 5-10 minutes to fully brighten once turned on, LED's brighten instantly. LED's also have the same standard screw-in and pronged base which can mostly be used in standard light fixtures that you already have essentially making the installation process quick and easy.

LEDs do not have a filament so they are not damaged under the same circumstances when a regular incandescent bulb would be broken. Because they are solid, LED bulbs hold up well to jarring and bumping. Even if a bulb gets broken, do not worry because our LED's are 100%

Mercury-Free and do not pose a

threat of potentially being poisened

by this dangerous substance.

Outdated lighting technology can sorely impact your utility and maintenance expenses. LED light fixtures consume up to 85% less energy than standard lighting over the course of their long lives, while providing just as much brightness and versatility as its competitors. Our LED's also have the ability to distribute light evenly over a wide area, which allows you the potential to have the same amount of light with less bulbs and fixtures.

Longer Lasting

LED bulbs last up to 10 times as long as compact fluorescents, and far longer than typical incandescents. The life span of an LED light can be over 60,000 hours, compared to 1,000 hours for a similar incandescent light bulb. In fact, one LED will produce the same light output over its lifetime as 60 incandescent bulbs. With an average life span of over 30 years, LED bulbs are built to last. This lowers your maintenance expenses
